Woman, you are set free

"A reign of love to rise from within our hearts" is what God wants and this is what we can see happening too with Jesus' miracle healing of the woman in the synagogue. The woman did not ask Jesus to heal her. In fact, Jesus pulls her out of the crowd and tells her: "Woman, you are set free from your ailments." Then, he lays his hands on her and she straightens up, is healed. Jesus' healing, as we know, is one of the seeds he's sowing as he plants the kingdom of God on earth.  At first, the synagogue worship leader is angry. In the end, everybody rejoices. Why? What does this mean for us today? Find out from today's lecture slides below (reminder: this is a part of our study of the Ignatius Spiritual Exercises).
